As a part of its scientific activities outside the university campus and to teach or rather encourage the students of our university to work for the society. Accordingly, Miss. Huda M. Salih, lecturer at the University of Zakho, decided, with the assistance of Mr. Jamal Sharafani, to start a four-week course of teaching English language at Qadia Camp in Zakho.

The course started on March, the 24th and ended on April the 14th, 2016. During the four weeks, the focus was on teaching the students the basic communication skills in English language. The classes included certain activities that encouraged the students to be involved in the process of learning. Students from different stages from the Department of English language were pleased to participate in the teaching experience. On the other hand,The students of the camp were very enthusiastic and eager to learn. In the end, Miss. Huda H. Salih was pleased to give the certificates of completion in the presence of the vice dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Miss. Jirwan Said Haji and Mr. Hozan Gorgin Othman , the head of the Department of English language.
